FACE OFF!
Treble clef note name game
for 2-4 people
​Print two (or more) sets of the treble clef note cards available HERE
Review all of the note names with all of the players (Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge and FACE)
Shuffle all the cards and place them face down on an even surface
Take turns flipping one card over at a time
The first player to correctly identify the note keeps the card - ties are settled with rock, paper, scissors
Play until all of the cards are gone
The player with the most cards wins
MUSICAL GO FISH
Play this game with any musical or other academic concept
(math, reading, science, and more!)
​Game Set-Up:
Print four copies of either the rhythm cards HERE or note name cards HERE
Deal 5 cards to each player and place the remaining cards in a discard pile in the middle of the playing area
Each player should set aside any pairs (1 point for each)

Game Play:
Youngest player gets to start!
Ask any other player, "do you have _____?" to request a matching card
That player must hand over the card OR say "Go fish" if they do not have the matching card
If the answer is "Go fish" the player must pick up a card from the discard pile
If you receive the pair from a player, you get to ask again.

Other Rules of Play:
If a player runs out of cards, they must pick up 5 new cards from the discard pile
The player with the most points once all the cards are gone is the winner!
RHYTHM BASKETBALL

Game Equipment:
- 10-15 rhythm cards either created by the players or printed from HERE
- One "basket" (chose a clean garbage can, pot or pan from the kitchen, etc.)
- 3 "basketballs" for each player (use whatever safe throwing object you choose)
Game Set-Up:
- Place the basket in the center of the room and use some tape to designate shooting spots
for each player at equal distances away from the basket
- Set all of the rhythm cards upside down in another area of the room.
Game Play:
- Count down from 3 together and let the game begin!!
- Each player aims for the basket and keeps shooting until they successfully get one in
- When a player scores a basket, they immediately run to the rhythm cards, flip over the top card and
clap the rhythm. If they clap it correctly, they earn a point. They will take
the card back to their designated shooting spot and work towards another basket.
- The game is over when all of the rhythm cards are gone.
- The player with the most rhythm cards is the winner!
