Print the posters above or create your own to represent 4 different songs (Ex. Row your boat; Old Macdonald; Twinkle; Abc's).
Display the pictures in the four different corners of a room.
Choose one person to be in the middle. They will close their eyes and count down from five while the rest of the players finds a corner to stand in.
The person in the middle will sing one of the songs and whoever is in that corner is “out” and sits in the middle with the caller.
If there are four or less players, each player must choose their own corner (they can’t all stand in the same corner).
If the person in the middle sings one of the songs and no one is at the corner, everyone in the center is back in and a new person can be chosen to sing.
This game can be extended to use instruments, sight words, math facts and so much more!
TRIANGLE GAME
Time to dance!
Create a taped triangle on the floor (each side needs to be about 1 meter or an arm span long)
Place a piece of paper or coloured tape on one corner of the triangle. This place is for "the boss".
Start the music and copy all of the the boss' sweet dance moves. After about 10 seconds, call "switch" and move around the triangle to allow a new person to be the boss.

Assign half of your family to gallop around the room when the music stays the same and half of your family to gallop around the room when the music is different. Can you hear when it is time to switch?
